Resistance Is Part of the Path

Nearly every entrepreneur I’ve ever worked with talks about resistance. Not the polite kind you push through with motivation. The internal kind. The quiet voice that says don’t start yet, don’t pivot now, don’t bet on yourself because it’s risky or uncomfortable.

Years ago, I wrote about resistance as a battlefield. That wasn’t a metaphor. It was lived experience.

Resistance doesn’t show up when things are easy. It shows up when you stand at the edge of growth and feel yourself hesitate.

Here’s the truth most people miss. Resistance always lies.

It tells you that you’re not ready. That there’s a safer path. That later is better than now.

Growth does not come from eliminating resistance. It comes from acknowledging it and taking the next small step anyway.

The next time you feel resistance, don’t ask why it’s there.

Ask what kind of freedom exists on the other side.
